Most families approved for Washington Apple Health for Kids with Premiums will be required to pay a monthly premium. This program is also called Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP).
Once approved, you can use the coverage immediately. You will receive an invoice in the mail from the Office of Financial Recovery with your premium amount and information on how to pay.
The Office of Financial Recovery manages the premium billing only. If you have questions on eligibility for the program or premiums, call the Health Care Authority at 1-800-562-3022 or email [email protected]
